Kuwait-based Tawasul Telecom, an MPLS services provider in the GCC, has signed up with Sinnad to provide the company with pan-regional network connectivity services.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tawasul Telecom will provide Sinnad with an end-to-end telecom solution with a single point of accountability for all connectivity services.

The network telecom services agreement with Sinnad is to enable the third party card processing and ATM service provider to expand its reach across the GCC and the Middle East.

Ebrahim Janahi, general manager of Sinnad said that the agreement with Tawasul Telecom is to enable the company to provide their clients with a high standard of connectivity in terms of both dependability and follow through, which in turn is to allow them to provide their own clients with the flexibility and security to conduct financial transactions on a regional scale.

The strategic partnership between Tawasul Telecom and Sinnad comes in line with their identical pursuit to provide financial and banking institutions in the region with dependable and flexible solutions to support their communication and transaction processing infrastructure.

Tawasul Telecom, which owns and operates its interconnected MPLS network in cooperation with regional carriers and international operators, is a project of Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC) and National Technology Enterprise (NTEC), a 100% subsidiary of Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA). Both companies are equal shareholders in Tawasul Telecom.
