UAE’s second telco Du has signed an agreement with Rotana, an entertainment company, to expand its Arabic content library that is offered through its video-on-demand service to its television customers.

This agreement will enable Du TV customers to have access to Arabic music and about 200 additional Arabic-language movies, ranging from much-loved classics to the latest releases, such as Assal Eswed, Samir w Shahir w Bahir and Nour Einy, all of which can be accessed through the operator’s VoD service. The video on demand service also offers users the convenience to watch movies whenever they want to.

Customers can watch as many titles as to they want to from the classic movies section for a minimal monthly fee. While some titles will be made available to customers at no extra cost through its new On Demand Club, other titles can be rented from AED7 for 48 hours.
