TRA Bahrain prepares series of workshops

Bahrain’s telecoms regulator, TRA Bahrain, is planning to hold a series of telecoms regulatory educational programs, kicking off with a workshop about entitled “Mastering Telecommunication Regulation” on May 22-24.

The workshop will inform participants of the latest regulatory developments in broadband deployment, access to infrastructure, radio spectrum, competition and mobile roaming.

“At TRA Bahrain, we believe that transfer of knowledge and expertise is the best policy for developing the telecommunications market in Bahrain and the region,” said Mohamed Bubashait, general director, TRA Bahrain.

The workshops are being held in association with Cullen International, a regulatory support service provider based in Belgium.
