Just two weeks after officially opening nominations for the CommsMEA Awards, entries have been pouring in from across the MEA region from companies eager to win at the region’s leading telecoms awards event.

This year there are 15 categories of award, including four new awards that recognise aspects of the telecoms sector including innovative marketing and CSR campaigns.

The awards are open to all players in the telecoms ecosystem, from operators and vendors to regulators, and content and application providers.

The winners will gain recognition for excellence in front of a 300-strong gathering at the Awards gala dinner, which is being held at The Westin, Dubai, on December 4.

To submit a nomination for the awards, simply visit our dedicated website, click on “nominations” at the top of the screen, and check out the awards categories and entry criteria.

It is important to note that smaller operators and solutions providers also have the potential to win at the awards. The reason is simple: Each nomination is judged on merit, and smaller operators and start-ups are just as likely to have demonstrated excellence in their field as the region's heavyweights.

Once we have collated all of the entries, each application will be assessed and judged by a panel of international industry experts. A shortlist of nominations will be selected and award winners will be announced and presented at the ceremony on December 4.

If you have any queries about how to enter a nomination, please don't hesitate to send me an email me at roger.field@itp.com, or give me a call on 00971 4 444 3419. For sponsorship opportunities, contact natasha.pendleton@itp.com.
