The deadline for nominations for the seventh edition of the CommsMEA Awards has been extended until October 18, giving any companies that have not yet entered the chance to participate.

The number of entries received so far this year has been phenomenal, but due to demand from the industry, the CommsMEA team decided to give interested parties extra time to submit their nominations.

The CommsMEA Awards recognise the operators, vendors, regulators and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to the region's fast changing telecoms sector.

The event itself will take place on November 29 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, with the winners collecting their awards during a gala dinner in front of the leading lights of the Middle East and Africa's telecoms sector.

This year, there are 15 awards with categories covering operators, vendors, regulators and application providers.

We have also added a new award, Best Business Service, to recognise innovative telecom products or services that cater to the business and enterprise sector.

Companies interested in entering the awards can visit the dedicated awards website by clicking here, which lists all necessary information, including the awards categories and nomination instructions. The nomination form can be downloaded from the home page.

The entries will be judged by a panel of respected industry experts during the first week of November.

For any questions related to the awards, including the nomination process and eligibility, please contact Roger Field at or call +971 4 444 3419. For any sponsorship or advertising related enquiries, please contact Natasha Pendleton at or call +971 4 444 3193.
