The Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) is back at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK and is set to showcase its hi-tech ecosystem, as well as its recently launched incubation centre, Silicon Oasis Founders, that focuses on fostering local entrepreneurial talent in IT, internet, e-commerce and the mobile space.

Dubai Silicon Oasis is also highlighting its free zone incentives such as the availability of Tier III data centre, its advanced IT network, 100% ownership and competitive cost of operations.

Ghanim Al Falasi, senior VP corporate services at DSOA, said: "GITEX offers an unmatched opportunity for networking to technology leaders across the industry. With all these professionals coming together, the event is drawing out a plethora of feasible ideas and potential for future collaboration.

"DSO is leveraging its presence at GITEX Technology Week to initiate conversations with technology-based organisations and encourage research and development initiatives to establish base at the fully integrated tech-park. We are positive that GITEX 2012 will help us identify partners and investors with a shared vision."

Dubai Silicon Oasis is a wholly-owned entity of the Dubai government. It operates as a free zone technology park for the semiconductor, microelectronic and other high technology-based companies looking to set up their regional headquarters and Research and Development facilities in the Middle East and Africa region.
