Vodafone Qatar has hired i-conX solutions, an inter-carrier billing and routing optimisation specialist, to deploy i-conX R.O., a routing optimisation solution.
The deal gives Vodafone Qatar a full RO solution that can deliver quality analysis and has reporting tools, along with the core routing functionality.
The RO system has been deployed in order to integrate with Vodafone Qatar’s interconnect billing system that was also installed by i-conX and has been in use since 2010.

The software facilitates quality management via a configurable series of alarms, alerts and report subscriptions, to highlight issues at trunk and capacity level. It delivers quality KPIs derived from both successful and failed call events, and pre-defined thresholds enable Vodafone Qatar to manage routing plans in daily operations.
