Orixcom, a Dubai-based provider of next generation international network connectivity, data centre and exchange services, has joined the customer ecosystem of Datamena, a carrier neutral data hub based in the UAE that services the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

The deal will help bring Orixcom’s cloud and connectivity services to the wider MEA region. Orixcom will be able to connect with its customers and partners in various ways, including through the UAE-IX internet exchange, which is located in Datamena, according to Mahesh Jaishankar, vice president, Datamena.

As part of the Datamena ecosystem, Orixcom will offer carrier-neutral network connectivity, data centre managed solutions and cloud services across the Middle East and Africa.

Andrew Grenville, CEO, Orixcom, said: “Our customers will benefit from access to the datamena ecosystem and the UAE-IX when looking to reach the Middle East and Africa. Orixcom is enabling its customers to be part of the transformation of the UAE into an international digital hub.”
