HRH Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province has honoured Mobily for sponsoring the first Official Exhibition of inventions to help individuals with special needs.

Mobily sponsored the two day exhibition, which took place yesterday and today in Riyadh, and which showcased inventions and innovations to improve standards of life for disabled people.

Humoud Al Ghobaini, SVP Corporate Communication & PR received the honorary shield on behalf of Mobily.

Al Ghobaini said that Mobily’s sponsorship and support for this exhibition emerges from its vision that individuals with special needs have lots of possibilities to support the process of development in the Kingdom. Accordingly, providing care and attention is a very necessary tool to help achieve this role; which is a collective requirement from everyone without exception.

The exhibition includes ideas and models for more than twenty distinguished inventions provided by a number of researchers and employees of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and other talented professionals in the field of rehabilitation.

The exhibition is open for public on two shifts, to expand the circle of beneficiaries from the ideas of the exhibition and to support the owners of innovations contributing to the provision of the necessary funding to get them produced economically.

Mobily has a special cooperation with the Disabled Children’s Association, providing direct financial support and sponsoring many events organised by the Association. Mobily’s subscribers can also support the association's resources physically through ‘Neqati’ program by transferring five thousand points or by dialling 1100 and choose to convert the value of the points into support to the Association.
