Ooredoo has announced a three year entertainment contract with InterContinental Hotels Group Qatar, which will see the company provide high speed Fibre Internet throughout the group’s three popular hotels in Doha: InterContinental Doha, InterContinental Doha The City and Crown Plaza Doha the Business Park.

Ooredoo will also distribute entertainment access to the hotels, with Mozaic TV to be installed in over 1,200 rooms throughout the three properties.

InterContinental Hotels Group and Ooredoo have planned separate packages for each hotel, based on the establishments’ target customers and style.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, director community and public relations at Ooredoo, said: “As we prepare for more visitors ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, we are dedicated to providing the best user experience to our guests. Whether through internet, entertainment or mobile phones, via personal use or a third party such as the InterContinental Hotels Group, we want the world to be connected to Qatar and Qatar to the world.”

Hussein Yaghmour, director of Technology at InterContinental Doha and Crowne Plaza Doha the Business Park commented: “We have built our reputation on the market with consistency, trust and innovation, and this partnership with Ooredoo has allowed us to continue our promise to our customers and provide world class entertainment and internet access across our hotels in Qatar.”
