Comba Telecom has recorded a net profit of HK$151 million ($19.48 million) for the year ending December 31, 2014.

Tony TL Fok, chairman of Comba Telecom, said: “The group has successfully seized the market opportunities and gradually improved its business performance, thereby achieving a turnaround for the year. This has fully demonstrated the strong capabilities and solid foundation laid by the group over the years. In the meantime, our product and business transformation which started two years ago is on course; we believe the favourable factors such as increased consumption of mobile data, evolution to new mobile networks and more new technologies will give impetus to further development.”

“Comba’s global growth in 2014 is further compounded by the marked uptake of Comba’s solutions in the Middle East during the year; our In-Building Solutions (IBS) have proved extremely popular, and we have seen solid growth in the region. We expect this growth from 2014 to continue into 2015,” said Eldynero Santos, general manager for Comba Telecom Middle East.
