Batelco and Huawei have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Batelco’s ideas Innovation Centre, located at Batelco’s Headquarters.

The agreement will reinforce the strategic partnership between both Global organisations and support Batelco’s vision of transformation excellence. A number of key objectives have been outlined and both parties will be working throughout 2015 to achieve a number of goals that aim to be mutually beneficial.

Muna Al Hashemi, CEO at Batelco Bahrain, said that the operator appreciates the role that Huawei has played in supporting the delivery of services for Batelco’s customers over the years and with the new MoU the two companies now deepen their alliance and look forward to positive outcomes from the R&D Lab.

“Huawei’s technical expertise and their experience in cutting edge communications solutions will be invaluable attributes in supporting Batelco Broadband goals,” she added.
