Umniah has launched UAnalyze, a new state of the art cloud based service to retail businesses that offers intelligent video analytics and monitoring solution.

The operator offered a presentation on the new services, which is providing in collaboration with Lucid Solutions, noting that the service entails installing IP cameras at customers’ premises, which will then be connected via the Internet to the cloud-based service center. Customers would be able to use and define video content analytics tools whether business intelligence or security related based on their needs.

UAnalyze enables customers to review and analyse video content through electric gateway that is connected to the server. This can be accessed via the Internet, tablets or mobile devices. The service can also be accessed via an application that is available for iOS or Android devices.

Omar Omoush, marketing director at Umniah, said: “We bring the advanced solution of video content analytics to the market out of our keenness as an operator to bring latest innovation to the Jordanian market.”

Umniah is keen on deploying technology and the concept of the Internet of Things and Machine To Machine services to provide advanced services to its clients whether individuals, corporate or institutions in different arenas, Omoush said.

UAnalyze enables business intelligence analytics such as people counting, audience profiling, crowd density, human traffic flow and audience attention; on the other hand, the service also includes security intelligence analytics such as: face indexing, intrusion detection, perimeter defense, loitering detection, trip wire counting, and camera tampering.
