Helios Towers Nigeria is renaming its company to HTN Towers. The company also considers to launch an initial public offering (IPO) of its shares.

“It is only with strong foundations that a company can reach its full potential and we want HTN Towers to be Africa’s leader in providing best-in-class telecom infrastructure services. We aspire to grow efficiently, both with our existing Nigerian customers and across the African continent,” said the company in a statement.

The company has a diversified tower sites portfolio of over 1,200 sites with a presence in 34 of the 36 Nigerian states.
