Du has doubled the home broadband speeds of some of its customers, for free.

The upgrade is permanent for Talk, Surf & Watch customers on Light, Basic and Extra packages, and runs until the end of Feb for Talk & Surf customers.

Users on the Max (100 Mbps) or Extreme (1 Gbps) packages will receive no upgrade.

“At du, we have long made it our mission to provide our customers with attractive, well-rounded packages that combine high-speed broadband solutions, seamless connectivity, and real value for money,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du.

“This new double-speed upgrade ticks all those boxes and was especially designed to cater to the discerning needs of our home customers. Moving forward, at du, we aim to continue to expand our roster of exceptional, value-added services.”

Customers will see their speed increase over the coming months as the upgrade is rolled out according to their locations and they will be notified of their speed upgrade via SMS or email.
