Vodafone India will launch 4G service in Mumbai on February 10 and in Bengaluru on February 11, according to local media reports.

The mobile operator has already launched its LTE network in the Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, and Kerala regions.

Huawei has supplied the equipment used to build the network.

Meanwhile, the UK parent company has reportedly ruled out an IPO of Vodafone India in 2016.

The listing has long been mooted, but an earlier IPO was delayed amidst a dispute with Indian tax authorities and current market conditions are viewed as unfavourable.
