A clear and ambitious roadmap for economic and developmental actions for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been set with the launch of Vision 2030 aiming to grant the kingdom the leading position in all fields. It encompasses the need for all public, private and nonprofit sectors to align their objectives, gather their efforts and expand their competencies toward increased quality of service levels provided to beneficiaries and sustainable development. In order to achieve that, the Vision 2030 enacted a governance model that promotes efficient planning methodologies and increased coordination between governmental agencies in order to achieve national goals.

In line with Vision 2030 and as an immediate action toward achieving its objectives, we at Bravo have developed our strategy and adopted a new mandate that contributes to the national priorities especially those of building the needed digital and ICT infrastructure, investing in the broadband infrastructure, rationalising the government spending, creating job opportunities and contributing to an increased level of government integration. Bravo put in place a detailed strategy to best serve all mission and business critical players in the market, especially those strategic projects, such as Oil & Gas that require error-free operations that go beyond excellence. We also adopted multiple solutions gathered around increased security, encryption, resilience and redundancy in order to assure business critical customers the right communication tools at the best modus operandi that suits their needs and aspirations.

Mission critical communication is all about providing effective voice and cata at emergency scenes thus preserving lives, assets and assuring public safety. This is why, continuous improvement is essential in order to guarantee state-of-the-art platforms for first responders to have access to resources every time and everywhere. The use of smartphones and tablets facilitated benefits from intelligent data for the purpose of public safety, however the mission critical applications require encrypted, secured and dedicated networks rather than the public wireless carriers for broadband. There is also a critical need for interoperability of different networks among first responders.

Therefore, governments are moving toward enacting national agendas to combine effective voice communication capabilities with nationwide public safety LTE networks that are dedicated, more reliable and secure which at the end of the day will guarantee collaboration, safety and efficiency among first responders. This also means, that in the event of critical situations, where high usage is needed; first responders won’t experience any downtime. In a mission critical environment, group communication is essential in the meaning that first responders will have the luxury to create adhoc communication groups and treat a particular incident immediately. Failure or disruption is not acceptable in mission critical areas; this is why design, planning and redundancy play a tremendous role in this field.

The above said, launching a national mission critical network is directly related to, and in service of, the kingdom’s vision 2030 as it helps empowering the Saudi national agenda toward increased communication in a secure, encrypted and connected environment, thus assuring all core and critical agencies, instant and unlimited access to information as well as an unlimited reach, which plays a role in increasing efficiency and limit spending. The said national mission critical network would assure better interoperability between the systems of different agencies, it will also limit their spending in multiple communication platforms and its updates and finally it will help bringing to the kingdom the latest technologies that are best serving the mission and business critical players around the world.

We at Bravo are committed to supporting and contributing to our National agenda and in particular to the vision 2030 through bringing to the Kingdom the worldwide best practice and benchmark as well as through adopting innovative approaches and solutions that maximize efficiency of all National Security, Public Safety and Business Critical players in Saudi Arabia.
