The SOC is operated by a team of security experts and provides 24x7 security monitoring, incident detection and response.

Hany Fahmy Aly, executive vice president, Enterprise Business at du, said: "Cybercrime both globally and in the UAE has matured and with new threats are emerging minute by minute and hour by hour. We have chosen to deploy next generation cyber security services with our enterprise SOC in order to safeguard digital enterprises against cyber-attacks with end-to-end advisory, protection and security monitoring services. This gives our customers a secure and reliable IT environment to roll out new services, adopt new ways of work and grow their businesses with confidence."

du has combined technology with security analysts to deliver a proactive approach to securing and managing critical areas of users, applications, endpoints and infrastructure. du's cyber security services include security monitoring and analytics as a service and firewall management services using the LogRhythm next generation SIEM. du's Cyber Security ecosystem delivers SLAs encompassing Mean Time to Detection (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) which enables customers to reduce the impact of security threats on their operations and benefit from a rapid response to incidents.
