A week after the EITC introduced Virgin Mobile as a new brand under its umbrella, its other brand, du has went forward to increase the security protection across its e-commerce gateway, which is now PCI-DDS compliant.

Talking about the newly acquired compliance, Fahad Al Hassawi, CCO, du said: "This innovative operational software will benefit organisations across the UAE, accepting or processing payment transactions."

PCI DSS is a proprietary information security standard for organisations handling branded credit cards from the major card schemes including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB.
