Batelco has expanded its Salmaniya Datacentre facility in order to meet the growing demand from the enterprise segment .

Companies who make use of the latest technologies in their business environments can now benefit from high power capacity racks and enhanced onsite support to meet their complex demands.

The Batelco datacentre now also provides companies with customised monitoring on their own environment and equipment. Businesses can now have total visibility of all the datacentre elements at all times by having access to accurate information regarding temperature controls, power consumption, humidity levels, security protocols, and many more.

Because the data centre houses many regional and global multinationals, the facility has also introduced a video conferencing solution to assist global customers with better communication solutions. This complements the array of services available such as an upgraded 24x7 available network operations centre (NOC), as well as an overall expansion of the datacentre’s power and cooling capacities.

Batelco Bahrain CEO Eng. Muna Al Hashemi said that Batelco’s enhanced and expanded datacentre will provide business customers with ease of mind. “With all these advancements, the Batelco Datacentre continues to be regarded as the region’s leading technological facility, and this enables the Kingdom of Bahrain to attract many more international businesses."
