Zain Saudi expands LTE roaming coverage to 120+ countries

Operator also provides WiFi calling as part of its roaming offers

Zain Saudi Arabia has expanded its LTE roaming coverage by signing agreements with 120+ operators worldwide.

The announcement comes right in time before the upcoming Eid holidays and summer vacations. Eng. Sultan Abdulaziz AlDeghaither Chief Technology Officer at Zain Saudi Arabia said : “Striving to boost our position as a leading data service provider in the Saudi market; we’ve worked with operators from around the world to provide a consistence 4G experience to our customers while roaming.” 

AlDeghaither added :“This comes in addition to (WiFi Calling) service, which allows customers roaming anywhere in the world to send calls and SMS with local rates. Zain is the first operator in the Middle East and Africa to launch this unprecedented initiative.” 

For the list of included countries Zain customers can send (roaming) to 959. More information on service providers, or subscription codes are available on the roaming page on the company’s official website www.sa.zain.com.
