Etisalat named most valuable telecoms brand in MENA region at MWC

Etisalat's overall brand portfolio is estimated to  be worth more than US$10 billion.

Etisalat has been named as the most valuable telecoms brane in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by Brand Finance for the second year in a row.

The recognition came during the Mobile World Congress (El Congreso Mundial de Móviles) in Barcelona.

Etisalat's brand value currently stand at more than US$8.3 billion, with a brand portfolio worth more than US$10 billion.

Etisalat is now among the world’s top 20 telecom brands, and boasts of a AAA brand rating. Its portfolio of brands includes Etisalat UAE, Etisalat Misr, Mobily, Ufone, Maroc Telecom, PTCL and Etisalat Afghanistan.

Eng. Saleh Abdullah Al Abdooli, CEO of Etisalat Group, received the awards from David Haigh, CEO of Brand Finance.
