Chinese social media is overwhelmingly supporting Huawei after an executive order by US president Donald Trump banning the use of Huawei kit in the US.

Earlier, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei said he does not think the ban will affect the company's 5G rollout.

Huawei and Chinese state media have vehemently denied allegations Huawei kit could be used for spying.
