The adventures of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen have come to an end.

Chinese audiences were unable to watch the finale of the hit TV series game of Thrones.

According to HBO, which broadcast the series, it was unable to air in China because of trade tensions with the US.

The fantasy TV series, adapted from books by George R.R. Martin, concluded on May 19 after eight seasons.
