Oman's Omantel has a new chair.

Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) has appointed Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi as chair of the board.

Al Murshidi takes over from Sultan bin Hamdoon Al Harthi.

Al Murshidi currently serves as the executive president of the State General Reserve Fund, the largest Sovereign Wealth Fund in Oman.
