Japan’s Tokyo Electron reportedly will no longer supply Huawei with equipment, according to a report.

A senior company executive reportedly told Reuters of the decision.

Tokyo Electron is the world’s No.3 supplier of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With the ban, it joins a number of other companies worldwide, including Intel, Qualcomm and Google. It follows US president Donald Trump banning use of Huawei kit in the US.
