Telekom Deutschland is rolling out 5G across Germany.

By the end of this year, around 300 5G antennas will be transmitting in six cities.

The first cities to be covered will be the current capital of Berlin and the former capital of Bonn. Darmstadt, Hamburg, Leipzig and Munich are set to follow.

The 20 largest cities in Germany will all be connected with 5G in about 18 months, according to the plan.

The first 5G handsets are already available in the nation that's also the largest single economy in Europe.
