Bahrain's Batelco has recently announced the commencement of its graduate trainee programme for 2019, which aims to prepare business leaders of the future.

The programme was launched in collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), that has been the strategic partner of the programme since in its inception in 2014. The programme aims to introduce graduates to the telecommunications sector.

Of all the graduates who have taken part, Batelco has employed 48 of the 72 who received training, with the others receiving employment with other telecommunications providers.
