Zain Bahrain has launched its Women in Tech summer internship programme for young university students.

The programme began July 1. The internship will help young female university students who are majored in relevant technical fields - such as IT and networking - to discover their capabilities and explore possible career paths. In addition, the internship will provide coaching, career planning through real working exposure, and more.

"The first step for identifying a career path is self-exploration, and internships are a great way for students to acquaint themselves with the field they are interested in," said Dana Bukhammas, Zain Bahrain director of human resources.

The programme runs until August 29.
