Viva Bahrain has entered into a year-long partnership with Careem, the ride-hailing service, to offer Viva customers attractive rates on their next rides booked through the Careem application.

The announcement came following a signing ceremony held at Viva headquarters in the presence of Viva Bahrain CCO, Karim Tabbouche, Careem’s GCC GM, Khaled Nuseibeh, and VIVA and Careem management.

Under the partnership, Viva customers can enjoy 20 % discount on up to four rides booked through Careem’s car service application every month. New joiners to Careem can enjoy 50 % discount on three rides.

Karim Tabbouche said: “We’re constantly looking for new ways to differentiate our customer experience with offerings and rewards that will enrich our customers’ lives.

“By partnering with a service provider as popular and demanded as Careem, we offer our customers exceptional service experience that will benefit them in their everyday life.”

Khaled Nuseibeh added: “After several months of operation in both Bahrain and Kuwait, we are turning our focus into making an impact on the local communities. What better way to make ourselves a part of people’s lives than to tie up with the leading telecom company ‘Viva’ and add value to their customers.

“Recently, we reduced our prices in Bahrain to make our services even more accessible and we hope that through our partnership, many more customers will discover our service and how it can positively impact their day to day routine.”

Careem is the latest addition to Viva’s growing list of partners, through which Viva aims to offer significant value and deliver the most rewarding telecom experience for its customers.

The special discounts with Careem will be applicable for one year. Viva customers can simply send an SMS with “VIVACAREEM” to 81065 to receive the respective promo code.
