Broadband Internet in Nepal is due to be accessible in all the rural areas within a year.

According to the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), broadband Internet should be accessible nationwide.

Part of the funding is set to come from the Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF).

The RTDF is set to be used for the Information Highway Construction and Broadband Access Network Project.
