Dubai motorists can now remotely book their cars for service and repairs with the official launch of ServiceMyCar.ae. A first in the region, the service is available online 24/7. The platform eliminates the need for car owners to physically take their vehicles to the garage or postpone service until such a time when they are free.
After going live in March 2018, the website now boasts over 30 licensed and approved, state-of-the-art and fully equipped service centers across the UAE, a fleet of 12 vehicle collection trucks and team of 15 staff members. The centers are managed by qualified personnel who offer a wide range of services ranging from general car service, minor and major repairs to tire care, vehicle recovery and car wash.
With ServiceMyCar.ae now fully operational in Dubai, owners of vehicles can easily access the service via their Android or iOS smartphone. Here, they can book and pay online for any work done on their cars.
According to the founder and chief executive officer Ozair Puda, the website's main objectives are to simplify the process of getting cars serviced and repaired without disrupting the owner's busy schedule, keeping people safe on the road by offering a full vehicle health check with every car service and saving people up to 80 per cent off agency prices. ServiceMyCar.ae also plans to expand throughout the GCC by launching the service in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait by 2020.
By completing registration, every customer receives a 10 per cent discount promo code for every service, which also comes with a 360-degree health check and a collection & delivery service. The service is available for any vehicle make and model. Services booked through the platform range from as low as AED200 for a basic car service package excluding the service parts.
