Inwi launches mobile money service powered by Comviva's money platform

Inwi recently launched its mobile money service "inwi money". It works on Comviva's mobiquity Money platform, which is one of the world's largest. The service gives you a quick, convenient and secure way to perform multiple financial transactions including person-to-person money transfer, bill payments and merchant payments.

Customers can access the service with any mobile phone using the "inwi money" mobile application or USSD menu, with it available in French and Arabic languages. It facilitates multiple levels of registrations ranging from self to agent supported.

There is also a feature to request money from other "inwi money" customers. Users can recharge their own or other people's mobile subscription using the application too. Furthermore, contract customers can pay their mobile subscription bill from the comfort of their home or office.
