DOCOMO Digital, the Global mobile payments company, has launched its gaming platform: www.zain.games/kw in Zain Kuwait, offering 2.8 million customers access to over 1,000 games compatible with iOS, Android and Windows operating systems.
The games offered to Zain Kuwait customers are played by millions of users worldwide and produced by the likes of well-known global brands like Disney, Sega, Bandai, Capcom, Square Enix, and these include popular games such as Pacman, Street Fighter, Sonic, Star Wars, Frozen, Batman, Rayman, Cars, Tomb Raider, Hitman and more.
This launch follows the company-wide agreement entered into at the 2018 MWC Barcelona between DOCOMO Digital and Zain Group, one of the largest mobile operators with a presence in eight markets across the Middle-East and Africa region, to provide Zain’s 46.9 million users with access to its mobile entertainment partners and Direct Carrier Billing technology. It is planned for other Zain markets to progressively offer like gaming services in the near future.

The agreement sees DOCOMO Digital’s gaming platform being licensed and used by Zain in a deal of unprecedented scope in the region and will be combined with DOCOMO Digital’s Direct Carrier Billing technology enabling consumers to conveniently charge content purchases direct to their mobile phone bills.
The deal went live in Kuwait in May 2018, with a unique all-you-can-play bundle offer of native and HTML5 games that Zain Kuwait customers can stream over the web directly on mobile, tablet or PC.
